Welcome! I’m Dr. Kelly Blundy, a passionate advocate for true healthcare transformation. Over the past 18 years as a practicing chiropractor, I’ve witnessed first hand the frustrations and disappointments many have with the current healthcare system. It’s often reactive rather than proactive, more about managing sickness than promoting wellness. This country has adopted a “match the pill to the ill” approach, and while I’m not anti-medicine, I am against the way it’s often used. Our lifestyle profoundly affects how well we age and how quickly we become disease-ridden. By addressing the body as a whole and targeting the root causes of ailments, we can achieve incredible improvements in quality of life. This is what I strive for with every patient.

My personal experience with the healthcare system, particularly through my own and my family’s challenges, fueled my dedication to Functional Medicine. My partnership with Dr. Nicole Anderson MD, FAAP, IFMCP, LLMD, CPAAM has been a cornerstone of this journey. What started as a patient-doctor relationship blossomed into a collaboration of shared visions and goals. Together, we navigated my second pregnancy, which had numerous complications, and pursued our IFM certifications side by side. Our dream became reality with the founding of the Functional Medicine Centers of NJ, where we aim to deliver unparalleled patient care.

What sets our practice apart is our comprehensive, personalized approach. We’ve created programs and services that are often hard to find under one roof. Each modality we offer has been carefully selected and personally experienced by us, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care. Our commitment to results and reputation is unwavering, driven by our genuine care for each individual.

My particular passions lie in gut health, thyroid and weight management, and addressing chronic toxic issues like mold. No matter the diagnosis, our goal is to ensure all bodily systems communicate effectively, leading to optimal lab results and, most importantly, a life free of disease, with excellent energy, sleep, and overall well-being.

My educational journey began at Michigan State University, where I completed my pre-med undergraduate studies and earned a Bachelor’s in Human Biology. I then pursued my Doctorate in Chiropractic from Logan University, my certification in Functional Medicine from the Institute of Functional Medicine, and my Doctorate In Natural Medicine.
